    Question About AC Controls/Defrost

Just use manual control. As soon as you press the fan or vent button to change it, auto disengage. On auto, it will blow full blast to get to the set temperature as quickly as possible (so it's better to set a "reasonable" temperature) but it doesn't stay at that speed forever. Personaly, I find...

2015 Corolla -Winter Tires & All Seasonn Tires & Wheels Set Plus TMP sensor

Mine does not come on before a few days (depending on the duration of each trip). The system keeps looking for the sensors for a certain period of time before giving up !

2015 Corolla -Winter Tires & All Seasonn Tires & Wheels Set Plus TMP sensor

Absolutely right ! My dealer even suggested it "as long as you can live with the light on".

    Trac and VSC

No, it is suppose to be on automatically. Even when off, it is suppose to reengage under certain conditions. Its either just checking the light (like all other cluster lights). Does the "off" shut itself after a few seconds ? Otherwise, it might be some defect.

USB Skip Track (WMA Files) Using Steering Wheel Control

Works in mine (on the steering wheel) : Left and right for fast forward or rewind. Up and down for next or previous song. But I never "hold" the up and down, just a quick push (same on the unit buttons) Maybe that's the explanation. Otherwise, some kind of malfunction.

TPMS on 2014 Corolla S Upgrade Package

In Canada, no (only available in LE Eco), in US, yes. It is just a warning light, not an individual reading. You still have to find what tire is the problem if the light comes on.

2014 Corolla Sport - Should I Keep the Stock Rims for Winter?

I wouldn't change the rims. If salt is used on the roads, just clean them once in a while, as you would do for the rest of the car. My experience is that you are far more at risk for damage by having a "technician" changing the rims every season (plus the time needed and cumulative cost)...

2014 Corolla S - Annoying Noise Coming from the Drivers Side

Mine does it when cabine temperature is changing (Heater on when very cold / AC on when very hot). When temperature stabilize, it stops. Like some plastic near the vents at the base of the windshield is expending or contracting. Need an expansion joint !

2015 Corolla - Car Feels "Busy" At Highway Speeds

The price is irrelevant. A new car is not suppose to have a defect. And no one has to get used to a defect. But one might have to get used to a new car. (I remember having almost "sudden acceleration" when I first try the Corolla because the gas pedal felt different from my usual ride). Then...

2015 Corolla - Car Feels "Busy" At Highway Speeds

Same experience here, after ony a few hundred miles, plus : All this (especially tire pressure) and sometimes new tires need a bit of "setting". Some tire manufacturers even use that one for marketing, saying that their gum include a thin temporary layer to offset that. Not that in necessarily...

    2014 Corolla - Orange Peel

Of course not. Most of them work hard for the peope they represent. But don't underestimate the power of lobbies. Mainly because they are far more organised and focused than "the people". They have the means to influence the public opinion thus those seeking election. And those with bigger...

    2014 Corolla - Orange Peel

And this thread is spectacular : from a paint defect to grammar, delocalisation, government and now ethanol! On the latter it would take more than page 40 of such a thread to move a soul in Washington or Ottawa:D

    2014 Corolla - Orange Peel

Good idea and they might even listen! But mostly because lobbies have now shifted. With higher oil cost, cutting it with whatever allowed for higher profits (plus a somewhat, albeit dubious, greener and patriotic image). With lower cost, it’s a burden as you can boost profit by just not...

    2014 Corolla - Orange Peel

Ethanol is a disaster : less efficient cars, more petrol consumption for fertilizer production, more land to produce "car food" and less for human consumption, thus higher price at the grocery store... Obama is culprit of going on with implementation, despite all red alert lights from the...

    2015 Corolla S Horn?/FM Static

And still, some are laughing at Consumer Reports for considering infotainement system as a criteria for reliability... Electrics/electronics glitches are the hardest to spot and repair. They aren't just a matter of updating a firmware... Just as with lemon law. Great pressure tool, but, as...

    Steering Column Slanted?

It's hard to find a fixed point to measure it since there are so many curves on the dash or the base of the windshield and the seats are generally slighlty decentered. Since many of us don't notice anything visually or from a comfort point of view, maybe it has to do with ergonomics. Not all...
