Heater cores are such a pain ... LOL! The one in my '96 GT was leaking, and the one in my '82 GT got really bad before I finally replaced it. Took one full day to tear everything apart, another full day to clean all of the antifreeze out of the vents, and another full day to put it all back...

    New Corolla Owner Georgia

I'll probably be looking at Yokohamas when it comes that time for mine to be replaced. The 17" tires aren't terrible though.

Distilled water still has salts in it (regardless, definitely safer than tap water). Deionized water is best to use. Grocery chains may carry deionized water, but it has been a while since I have seen it.

    2003 Type S - No Compression

103k miles on a 2003 Type S should be able to sell for $6k easy (assuming that everything else about the car is perfect) ... so if they sell it to you for a grand, you could net a few grand from it.

2005 Toyota Corolla LE - OBD Code P0741

    A. Possible but it depends on how far back in the harness these electrical problems go. Chances are there is a lose wire on the interior fuse panel causing this, and the transmission wouldn't be affected by that (I would at least have someone take a look at that, because a loose wire could...

    97 Corolla Heating Issue

Coolant thermostat sensor? You mean the thermostat right? Or do you mean the coolant temperature sensor? Assuming you meant thermostat: On my '96 Mustang GT, anytime I replaced the thermostat, the engine would show it getting to the hot range before the thermostat would finally open. This is...

2001 Small Oil Leak Top of Motor Near Alternator

Can you get pictures of where you found the oil? It could be the valve cover gasket, and it could also be spill from the person that last changed the oil. Upload them to photobucket and then post the links here. Attachments usually don't work.
