    385 miles on tank @80

Me I'd rather say "I have to drive the speed limit at most!...;) Here we actually have minimum and maximum speed limits : 60-100 though 110 generally won't get you into trouble. Don't get too excited, I'm in Canada so those are kilometers... (that's roughly 40-60-70). For the Jetta mpg, you may...

    385 miles on tank @80

Completely agree with DTG Any car is a compromise. The Corolla is a general purpose commuter econobox. Indeed it might be the the wrong choice if your driving involve mostly highway at 80 mph and money is no object. (Although 32 mpg at 80 isn't that bad). Diesel are great in those conditions ...

    Low Washer Fluid Warning Light?

    Sorry, I really don't know !

    Inadequate Heating

Might be the picture : I don't see the green light above the "Auto button" while I see those, albeit faded, above "recirc" and AC. Also it might be a reflection but the "rear defroster" seems "on" to.

    Inadequate Heating

True ! As in houses, setting the thermostat to a higher level changes nothing to the temperature of the air coming out of the appliance. It just makes it blow longer and at a higher speed to reach the set temperature. I always leave mine at 22° on "Auto!" (which, by the way, doesn't seem to be...

    2014 Corolla S CVT Problems

At least have the fluid check with the fancy instruments. If the fluid is low or contaminated, it's likely there is something else wrong with the transmission.

    2014 Corolla S CVT Problems

Not really odd... As it has been discuss here and elsewhere, CVTs might be new for NA but Toyota has been using them for 15 years (5 years in the Corolla) on other markets.

    Inadequate Heating

I find the Corolla slower than other cars I've owned to heat (hurray for heated seats). Plenty of hot air afterward. I think it has to do with heating come cvt components when the car is cold. Also many users/reviewers report that they have to set the temp higher than what is desired.

    Low Washer Fluid Warning Light?

I'm not sure it is mandatory in Canada since I see quite a few vehicles without it. Plus the manual simply says "if equipped", not "Canada only" as for some other items. It sure is very useful to get a warning before running dry in winter slush. Might be a Toyota Canada thing for winter : our...

    Low Washer Fluid Warning Light?

Would think an LE Plus have it since my LE Eco base (canadian) does.

Why did you choose your Corolla over the Civic?

I might have gone Civic, interior felt more premium than Corolla but I really like the design of the latter and, for my size, I felt cramped in the Civic driver seat. Plus two friends have had transmission issues in Civic and, most of all, for same equipment (better, if you include LED...

FUN AUDIO FACT Bluetooth sucks :D

"Probably" is the key word... It varies a lot from one phone to another (iPhone6 being a lot better than iPhone5 for instance) and I'm not sure about the one in the head unit. You could also use an external DAC. In any event, I simply use a flash drive as I hate having to plug an unplug and...

    Sound deandening

Right. Sound is like water. Wherever there is the smallest opening it will seep in.

FUN AUDIO FACT Bluetooth sucks :D

All things being equals (format of compression), USB is superior to AUX is superior to bluetooth. But bluetooth has its advantages (wireless headphones and, of course, hand-free phone in car).

    Corolla 14 LE One-Touch Windows

I don't think there is anything to program... It's already all in the switch : you want express up/down, fully pull/push the button. You don't want express, don't go further than the first step of the switch.

2016 Toyota Corolla Any New Changes?

The Special edition itself is an indication that there isn't much change : a way to have medias talk about the car when there is nothing to talk about !

    Which Corolla should I buy?

What you want is entirely up to you, your priorities and the importance of not having buyer remorse ! To me those "special editions" are really a marketing thing (blogs and publications talk about them, right ?) : you pay a slight premium for black wheels and red stitching, that's about it ...

    Which Corolla should I buy?

To me the Corolla is the best economy car (equipment, comfort, mpg, value) in middle trim level (around 20,000$) where it is unbeatable. At 25,000$, there are better options (Focus, Mazda 3 or even the Camry). Personally, I'd rather do something else with the 5,000$ difference !

How can you change the temp. units from Farenheit to celcius on the 2014 corolla s

Don't know if it can be done since the manual presents 4 types as "different" (S Celsius / S Fahrenheit / LE Celsius / LE Fahrenheit), So I think it is a factory setting, according to the market into which the car will be sold (US-imperial or Canada-metric)
