    1500 rpm when starting car

I just wait for the RPM to drop after the first 30 seconds before taking off. Personal preference thing I guess, but it's just for the cat warmup phase.

TRD PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM TOYOTA COROLLA S

If you ever thought about parting ways with the Borla, I'd consider buying it from you if it wasn't scratched up.

    Hitting 5000 miles

5,000 miles is pretty early to change the oil, but it also depends on what conditions you are driving in. I'll be taking mine in at 8k most likely on the first because I don't drive a lot. I'll barely get two services in before my Toyotacare ends, but I'm always happy to do my own oil changes...

TRD PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM TOYOTA COROLLA S

Personally, I like the Borla better than the TRD both in sound and in price. The canister style muffler gives it that real nice deep tone and it's not obnoxious. I've considered putting one on my LE Eco just to spice it up a little bit more since it's not crazy. Driving in the lower rpms, it...

    HP Gains From Headers

I put 198.6 whp to the wheels on my FR-S after a full headerback exhaust, a really good UEL header, and intake after several revisions on the tune. A stock FR-S puts down anywhere from 150-160 whp bone stock. These numbers are possible, but you would need really good bolt ons and most...

HELP: HIGH RPM & slow speed while driving Downhill

This is just engine braking to maintain speed going down hill. Nothing new, and nothing wrong with the car. It's better for it to engine brake this way than use your brakes going down a hill, and it's actually more efficient with the CVT in doing it.

I wonder if it's possible to add Sport Mode and Paddle Shifters to LE model

Should have just gotten a manual transmission then.

    Nokya Hyperlime Fog Lights

Definitely hyperlime. You will see a greenish tint in these bulbs compared to a pure yellow.

    Nokya Hyperlime Fog Lights

Figured I would share a picture of my car with the lights installed. They look great on my Eco.

    Factory foglight burned out twice?

I drive with my fog lights on all of the time in the morning and at night. I've done this on several cars. They should not be burning out like that.

    What to mod

Only if you're ready to spend several thousand on a turbo kit, then no. Just hundreds of dollars for making more noise.

What easy mods have you done

Fog lights and LED license plate bulbs. Just making it look a little nicer.

    HP Gains From Headers

Is there even a tuning solution for these cars similar to Ecutek for Subarus? If so, I'd consider a shorty header, probably catless with a cat further down stream and a good flowing magnaflow system with a resonator and muffler. Then replace the filter with a K&N/TRD high flowing filter. The...

LED or HID Fog Lights 2014 S Plus

I'm putting on the Nokya hyperlimes next week. Got them off Ebay for $106, $20 cheaper than Amazon has them. Jet.com has the Phillips 194 LED's for $9 a pair with free shipping. Just adding some flare to my Eco. May check into looking into LED's for the rest of the bulbs, but they don't...

    2014 Corolla le idle

I can't say mine does that so a second opinion would be helpful.

    what is the best muffler?

The stock muffler. There's nothing fast and furious about a Corolla.

    2014 Corolla le idle

Paranoid. The compressor requires power from the engine belt and the adjustment in RPM's is the reason for that.

I want to increase my New Corolla 1.8 HP...

Exactly one of the reasons I want to grab one before we move into the forced induction world of smaller engines and DI. I really don't want to see the V8 die. I love that GT350 and the flat plane crank.

    tires and more horse power.

Unless this intake on the Corolla is poorly designed, that would be the only improvement a CAI would benefit. Most modern have decent stock intake flow paths. Some intakes can introduce some turbulence when the MAF is moved from the stock location.
